Note about Membership Renewals

Current paid 2017 members should pay their membership by April 1st. If they do not they will lose their right to vote at club meetings. However, they can "cure" their membership any time in 2018, and their voting rights will immediately be restored.

CBID Dinner - Journal Ads

As you all know, our annual dinner is coming this April, 29th. The dinner itself will be an amazing evening where we hear from our local officials and honor some of our community's brightest and most dedicated members.

Also just as importantly, it's our club's fundraiser, which allows our club to do things like rent buses and print petitions and donate to candidates. So we need to not lose sight of this aspect either. At the dinner we have our club journal, where ads are printed from members, candidates, and local businesses. We need to strengthen our outreach to local businesses in particular. This is a great way for new and small businesses to get their name out to the attendees and to the club at large.

Please take some time and reach out to your favorite watering hole, your favorite local restaurant, your favorite yoga studio, and ask if they would buy an ad. Info on the ad pricing below, and if you have any questions about ads specifically, you can email Asher at ashercbid@gmail.com

Judicial Committee Call for Candidates

Any candidate who wishes to be considered for CBID's endorsement for a judicial race in Brooklyn should contact David Michaelson (mole333@gmail.com) by April 1st in order to be considered by the Judicial committee. (Candidates who announce their candidacy after April 1st will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
