Did you know...?
The real royal wedding invitations are printed with American ink on British card and finished with real gold. The motif at the top is the fleur-de-lys, the symbol of the Prince of Wales since the 14th century. In 2011, the Lord Chamberlain was commanded by the Queen to invite 1900 of Prince William's nearest and dearest; but then again, William is in direct line to the throne and Harry is only 5th (at time of writing; by the time he gets married he'll be 6th!), so it's his dad footing the bill...
