On behalf of the Aardvark Roost board of directors we wish to than you for your loyal support in the last year. 2017 ended on a high with a very successful EWSA 2017 conference that was held at the CSIR ICC during November 2017. We are already planning EWSA 2019 and trust that we can look forward to your continued support.
Thanks to your support in the chapter's activities, the Aardvark Roost Chapter was awarded the AOC's International Small Chapter of the Year award for 2017 at the AOC Annual Symposium which was held in Washington DC towards the end of 2017.
Two of our board members have stepped down, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Lt Col Frikkie Schoeman and Capt (SAN) Nick Snyman (Rtd) for their service to the Aardvark Roost. A new addition to the board of directors is Mr Kevin Gopaul from CSIR DPSS, and we trust that his addition will bring some new fresh ideas to the mix.
We are also trying to integrate a bit more with the AOC internationally to provide you as member with more EW related content and value. In this regard we have slowly begun to migrate from our www.aardvarkaoc.co.za website to that of the AOC's main site. This will however still take a bit of time to complete the process, but we are excited with the new functionality and features exposed in the new site. Please visit https://www.crows.org/group/aardvarks for the new site. From here, you will also be able to update your details and membership, as well as get information pertaining to AOC events and happenings. Please feel free to register on the group and to forward any inputs or comments to info@aardvarkaoc.co.za.
We are planning various activities for the year. Please visit the new website regularly for any updates, and keep an eye out for mailers in your INBOX. The first event for the year is Little Crow 16 which is scheduled for the 31st of May 2018 at IMT in Simonstown. Please find some more information on the event below.

The board of directors of the Aardvark Roost has the pleasure to invite you to the first of our Electronic Warfare conferences of 2018.
The sixteenth Little Crow conference will be hosted at the Institute for Maritime Technology (IMT) on the afternoon of Thursday 31 May 2018. A social event at the Seven Seas Club will close out the day.
