Joint Good Friday Service: 11am-12pm at Christian Fellowshp Centre (Qualicum)
A temptation among Christians is often to skip past Good Friday and go straight to Easter - celebrating the resurrection without first fully contemplating the cross. But when we do this, we rob ourselves of fully grasping the joy of Easter.
In his Lent devotional, Walt Wangerin says, “The cross must always be first, because the Resurrection is only as real (both in history and in our hearts) as the death is real."
I look forward to helping us reflect on the cross this Friday as I speak at our joint Good Friday service with our friends at CFC as we prepare our hearts together for Easter.

As much as Good Friday is a day of sorrow, Easter is a day of joy! Make plans to bring people and join the all-out party for Jesus!
We'll break out the hallelujahs with special songs, fun activitites for the kids, and food and fellowship afterward. Can't wait!
