From the Piper:
  • 21 area F3 PAX completed the GoRuck Tough including 17 from Crossbones. Six completed the Light while Goose, Jock Itch, Bono, and Pied Piper completed both events.
  • F3 Custom Heavy is April 20 in Wilmington. MaBell, Goose, Jock Itch, See Thru, Bono, and Pied Piper are all in.
  • Preparations will begin soon for fall Grow Ruck.
From the Expansion Q:
  • Farmville expansion wrapped up in February and they now have three workouts:  Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
  • A new AO site has been started at Elm Street on Wednesdays #AllBalls with Cold Cut as Site Q; however, so far turnout has been low. Attendance will need to increase if this is to become a recognized AO site. Currently we have The School Yard and BLP available on Wednesdays. If men of F3 want this new AO site, then they need to commit to turnout and support this site!
  • F3 Nash County Expansion: I have been in contact with two different individuals from Nash County regarding F3 expansion. As of now, we have a list of eight men. We will need 20 to set a launch date. Just today I received an email notification from FUDD of F3 Churham. He has moved to Rocky Mount and is interested in assisting with this expansion! I am hopeful that having an experienced F3 Brother locally headlocking will help us to not only reach the target number or higher, but will also provide solid leadership as we actually launch.
From the Fitness Q:
  • The hibernation period is over for PAX who like the warm fartsack more than the cold gloom as seen by our growing numbers every day. Continue to welcome back Kotters and EH FNGs.
From the Fellowship Q:
  • Stay tuned on Twitter or check the calendar for the weekly location of the Tuesday F3 lunch.

From the Faith Q:

  • F3 Washington has a new 3rd F Q. Please join me in congratulating Large Mouth on his new role. He has been leading Bible Studies every Monday morning at 5 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington, join these guys. I hear the meetings are great!
  • Hot Pursuit is passing the torch on to Charlie Brown for weekly Bible Studies. Charlie Brown has a few ideas for engaging interested PAX in exploring their faith. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon.
  • Gazelle and Nice Body continue to lead a group of PAX in Theology by Fire every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. We sit around a bonfire, talk about our faith, and learn how to become more like Jesus. Currently, we are reading a book on spiritual disciplines. If you are interested in joining us let us know.
  • Monday morning prayer time prior to the Boyd Lee Park workout. Starts at 5:10 a.m. Typically led by Bench.
  • Whetstone: we currently have 30 PAX participating in the Whetstone project. This is a mentoring program where PAX are paired up to help hold each other accountable and to learn from each other. You want to be better in some area of your life? (Who doesn’t, right?) This is the program for you! Sign up using this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdXO5EoJiaJOBQ4m4UVn6tpSWFYG5FdhDWQjxAK8_-MzWrAkw/viewform?c=0&w=1. Also, let Gazelle know you signed up.
From the Desk of the Weasel Shaker:
  • YHC is currently working on a PowerPoint presentation for an April meeting with the University City Kiwanis Club to raise F3ENC awareness. Will be dropping a massive multi-armed sad clown headlock! This will be a testing of the waters, stay tuned for results.
  • In the meantime, if you know of a men’s civic organization, church group, etc. that might be a good place for an F3ENC presentation, please contact String Bean.

From the IT Q:

  • Twitter will continue to be our primary platform to connect; however we now are on Slack (which is the best platform for Direct and Group Messaging) and YouTube (plenty of PAX and F3Nation videos out there). You can join Slack via the Request Form on the website (www.f3enc.com/connect). You can access the YouTube Channel via the YouTube icon at the top of the website, please subscribe to boost our numbers.
  • The F3 ENC website is updated almost daily; one of the best new features is the Announcements page. If you have any content for the newsletter send to julesnorwood@gmail.com. For F3 IT needs, email greenvillenc@f3nation.com.
