Great is Thy Faithfulness

Time and time again, we have experienced God's faithfulness to us these last five years in California. In the last two months, we have had even more opportunities to see God at work.
|
|
On May 6th, I graduated from the Master's Seminary (TMS) with my Master of Divinity degree. Ashley also graduated with her PHT (Putting Hubby Through) degree.
I could not have accomplished such a huge task while working full-time without the love, support, and prayers of my wife. Our graduation celebrations were as much for her as they were for me.
But ultimately, all praise goes to the Lord who sustained, empowered, and provided for us each step of the way. When it seemed impossible, I only had to remember God's past faithfulness and my burdens were lifted. May He receive all the honor!

Ministry Presentation at Mindset for Missions:
|

On May 2nd, we were blessed to share with the ladies of Mindset for Missions (part of the Women's Ministry at Grace Community Church). LISTEN TO THE AUDIO HERE (40 MIN)
It's been a bit surreal over the last 2 months experiencing the culmination of our seminary years. I've felt excited, relieved, and a bit sad all at the same time. The words, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" have been ringing in my heart with each passing day. I am thankful for all that God has done and I look to the future with joyful anticipation for what He will do next.
It was a privilege to proclaim all that God has done in our hearts to my sisters in Christ at Mindset for Missions. I thoroughly enjoyed telling them about our future plans for ministry in Madagascar. I am grateful for our church body who desire to be such a support to us.

These generous and gospel-minded women at Mindset for Missions were very encouraging! We had a great time sharing our ministry plans for Madagascar and our prayer requests.

In order to not delay our language school start date of January 2019, we must reach at least 75% of our monthly budget by the end of August. Once we reach this milestone, we will apply for our visas to France and register for the 1-year language school in Albertville, France.
|
|
Our Monthly Supporter Team provides for the following: Language Training, Living Expenses, Vehicle Expenses, Medical Expenses, Clothing, Ministry Expenses, Furlough Savings, and more.
One-time Gifts provide for the following: Shipping Container, Plane Tickets to France & Madagascar, a 4x4 Vehicle, and four months of monthly support in our account (required by our mission agency as a safety reserve).
Goal:
• 75% of monthly partners committed by August 2018.
• 100% of outgoing funds raised by August 2018.

Prayer Requests:
- Pray for wisdom managing our time and planning logistics before we leave.
- Pray for God to open doors to communicate with churches this summer.
- Pray for David as he prepares to preach at GraceLife Fellowship Group at Grace Community Church on June 3rd.
- Pray for Ashley as she continues to make progress towards completing her Biblical Counseling Certification.
- Pray that God would use our pre-field training to help prepare and strengthen us for life and ministry as a missionary.
- Pray for the Lord to continue to build our prayer and financial support team.
