36 Hours to Give, April 24-25, 2018
The Warren Land Trust is participating in Give Local Greater Waterbury & Litchfield Hills again this year! We invite those who love Warren’s forests, fields, and farmlands to make a powerful collective impact for land conservation by supporting us on April 24-25, 2018.
Funds raised during this 36-hour campaign, sponsored by the Connecticut Community Foundation, will be used for stewardship and enhanced public access of our properties, and for environmental programming and outreach in our town.
Every dollar donated between 7 AM on April 24th and 7 PM on April 25th will be stretched with bonus funds provided by the CCF and other generous Give Local sponsors.

What is Give Local?
Give Local is a temporary online giving platform organized by the Connecticut Community Foundation that streamlines and encourages charitable giving in the region. Gifts are processed through a secure website and are tax-deductible.
How does it work?
Just click on this link anytime after 7am on April 24th: https://givelocalccf.org/npo/the-warren-land-trust This takes you to our dedicated page; the donation form will be on the left hand side. Or go to our website, www.warrenlandtrust.org, and click on the "Give Local!" banner at the top of the screen. It's easy!
What else do I need to know?
You can give to as many organizations as you like. And you can maximize your "bang for your buck" by donating during periods when we are eligible for prize funds. For example, on April 24th, the CT Community Foundation’s “Double Down for the Environment” contest will aware an additional $500 to the first environment and recreation organization to receive a single donation of $500. Or add your support to our efforts to win the “Lucky Litchfield Hills” prize: an extra $1000 to the organization based in Bethlehem, Goshen, Litchfield, Morris, Thomaston, Warren, or Watertown with the most unique donors between 1-4 p.m. on April 24.
