Registration & Class Updates
Although nearly all spring classes are underway, a few courses will start soon. Two weeks before the start of class, remember to look for an email at your university email account from "Online Course Support" with login information. One week before a class starts, you'll be able to view content.. If you have trouble accessing your class, email BIZHELP@uwec.edu.

Course Evaluations
Final course evaluations will be conducted during the last week of your course. During that week, you can access the evaluation survey in one of three ways:
- You will receive an email with a link to the survey from Online Course Support at the beginning of the last week.
- You will see a course evaluation News item with a link to the survey on the course homepage.
- You will receive an email reminder later in the week.
Please take the opportunity to provide feedback on your course. The survey will remain open for two weeks.
Your Responses Matter
Your specific comments on what is working and your suggestions for what could be improved are extremely valuable information. The instructor receives a summary of the course evaluations while the Standards Committee also reviews all of the evaluations. Additionally, when a course is being updated, the faculty member and instructional designer look at the evaluations and suggested changes to help improve the class.

Elective Feedback Survey
Thank you to everyone who participated in the UW MBA Consortium Elective survey in January. Your feedback was used at the 2nd Annual UW MBA Consortium Faculty Meeting in January, and it will continue to help inform decision making for the Consortium's elective array.

Watch out for Phishing Scams
Phishing emails ask you to confirm or provide personal information (e.g., account number, password, credit card information). These email messages may appear to be from legitimate sources, but legitimate companies and organizations will never contact you to ask for this information. Because these types of emails are increasing, we offer the following tips for protecting yourself:
Identifying Phishing Emails
Below are a few common characteristics of phishing emails:
- They ask you to "Click Here" to confirm your personal information or upgrade your account.
- The text creates a sense of urgency.
- The email may be signed "Help Desk" or "IT Support."
- The message contains poor grammar and misspellings throughout the text.
Important Notes to Remember
There are several points you should remember to keep your information safe:
- Do not share you password with anyone.
- If it sounds suspicious/too good to be true, it probably is.
- If you receive an email and are unsure of whether or not it is a phishing attempt, contact BIZHELP@uwec.edu
