VISIT THE DURRELLS ISLAND HOME OF CORFU

This week's TV catch up is with The Durrells!

This spring we are following the third series of The Durrells, set in Corfu of the 1930s based on the books by Gerald Durrell following his life growing up in their house in Kalami Bay as his fascination for all things to do with natural history grew - he filled their home with everything from jars of fish to pelicans & goats!

Many of our clients love Kalami Bay apartments (below) - treat yourself to the view which the Durrells loved from their home with a holiday there this year. We recommend using local boat taxis in the evening to visit local tavernas!

Jules worked with Jersey Zoo (created by Gerald and now the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust) during her time at Chester Zoo and we have worldwide contacts to take you to places where the endangered species originally collected by Gerald and his colleagues have been subject to re-introduction in their endemic homes around the world.
