The next OCHRS meeting will come this Thursday morning because of the state OKHR annual conference in Tulsa and it will be a breakfast meeting. Starting at 7:30 AM on April 12th at the Will Rogers Theatre on North Western, with the program “R.O.C.K. your Job - How to prepare yourself and your workforce to deliver exceptional results” The presenter is Wendy Calvin and is appearing at OCHRS for the first time. The CLC and the OBA have assembled a panel of subject matter experts to discuss employer responsibilities and employee rights on the topic of sexual harassment in today’s workplace.
Topics include: State & Federal legislation; employer responsibilities & employee rights; the ME TOO Movement in Oklahoma; responding & investigating claims; effects of sexual harassment; anti-harassment policies; trauma and sexual harassment, etc.
This activity has been approved for 5 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®).
