Hope you have all had a lovely Easter break and are now looking forward to a sunny Summer term, this term is one of the longest and also involves GCSE, A Levels and SATs, we wish all your pupils the best of luck with these.

LGfL Annual Conference 2018
There are still a few places available for our Annual Conference on the 30th April, once again it will be held at the Mermaid Conference Centre. Keynote speakers include Laura Higgins from the Professional Online Safety Helpline, Graham Andre who took part in BBC2 programme no more boys and girls, Vic Goddard, Lee Parkinson as well as seminars on EYFS, SEND, Microsoft, Google, Primary and Secondary Content.  You can book your ticket here.

Learning Lab by Google for Education and TES
Join Google on the 23rd April at their offices near Victoria station for this event specifically for Head Teachers and Senior Leaders. The day will include a range of high profile speakers and interactive sessions showing best-practice use of classroom and operational technology. You can find out more and book your place here.

LGfL Digital Excellence Awards
Thank you to all those schools who entered the inaugural Digital Excellence Awards, the winners will be announced at our Annual Conference on the 30th April.

GDPR
As part of its SmartBuy initiative, LGfL has arranged another great deal for schools this time to assist you with the implementation of GDPR. We have arranged deals with 3 of the leading companies in this field: GroupCall, 360 data and Wonde, to provide products that will support schools with the implementation of GDPR. In addition to the great prices, LGfL will be further discounting the price in the first year by £50 for primary schools and £75 for secondary schools. Training from LGfL
Our training programme for the Summer  term has been updated, and dates are being continually added. Training is FREE for all LGfL teachers and is held on a Tuesday at Camden CLC, you can find out more about the courses on offer and how to sign up here. Examples of future courses include: Creative computing, supporting Teaching Assistants, Google and Microsoft training, including looking at Minecraft, using Microsoft tools to support pupils with additional and special needs and the Microsoft Certified Educator Programme.

You can also book one of the Learning Resource Consultants to come in to school and deliver INSET sessions, contact us via training@lgfl.net.

Curriculum Blog
Our curriculum blog is updated weekly and now has over 50 posts showcasing resources from LGfL to help support you in delivering the curriculum. Please let us know what future blog posts you would like or if you would like to write a guest blog post about the work you are doing in schools using LGfL resources. You can also subscribe to the blog so that you never miss a post.
