Spark is 25 years old: a fantastic milestone! And we keep evolving, on the frontline of innovation. Sometimes that means a pop-up studio at trade fairs and it always means staying on the look-out for talent.

Spark has been in existence for 25 years in 2018! And to celebrate, throughout the year, Sparkers will be telling you all about our elements. We’re kicking off with... Carlo!
 
Interaction & Graphic Designer Carlo has been working for Spark for exactly a year. When our bureau was founded in 1992, he was a little boy of two already with a passion for playing with Duplo. Before long, he was working with Ux, although it wasn’t called that in those days.
 
“I played with Lego well into my high school years. I built towns and then a train which ran around them. The towns were getting increasingly bigger, and even better. My challenge was to make what I created as lovely as possible. For the residents, but, of course, alsof or the passengers in the train,” Carlo says.
 
In the year 2018, user experience plays an important role in Carlo’s work. He explains: “I work on big projects, where I always represent the interests of the user. Like a kind of advocate, I make sure that the entire design process remains optimal in terms of user experience. It’s a great role.”
