We just released new functionality for the Eleos Mobile Platform in version 1.29 and we wanted to be sure we let you know!
⭐️ Tablet Support
With this newest release, your app will make better use of the larger screen real estate available on tablet devices, allowing drivers to see more at once with fewer taps. You’ll also see your app show up in the iPad section of the Apple App Store.
⭐️ Trip Planner
Your drivers can now view a map overview of an entire load, showing each stop and nearby points of interest. Trip Planner shows your drivers a route between all the stops on a load computed using our commercial routing engine, and gives them a high-level look at the distances between stops and the roads they'll encounter on the way.
To start showing Trip Planner for your drivers, contact us to make sure navigation is enabled for your app, and then either enable it on a load-by-load basis using a new flag in your web service response, or for all loads across your system upon request. At this time, Trip Planner is only available on iOS and Android tablet devices. We’ll make it available for phone-sized devices in a future release.
