Keeping in touch with tourism in the Derbyshire Dales

New Limestone Way guidebook

The new guide to the Limestone Way walk has now been launched as part of English Tourism Week and is available to order online.  This 46-mile route offers some of the best walking in the Derbyshire Dales and is becoming increasingly popular as a short break walking holiday.  To accompany the guidebook an online directory of accommodation and places to eat along the route is being developed to help walkers plan their visit.  To include your business in the directory see here
Be Cyclist Friendly
If you run a business (maybe a holiday cottage, a tearoom or pub) and would like to improve your facilities for cyclists then don’t miss out on the 50%  grants which are currently available.  The grants can help pay for secure bike lockers, cycle stands and other facilities for cyclists.

For more information on the grant scheme and accompanying Cycle Tourism Toolkit see here .
To attend a free workshop (26th April 2018) on how to market your business to cyclists see here.
