Prevention of Violence Against Women Week
April 15-21, 2018
To commemorate Violence Against Women Week, Howe Sound Women’s Centre participates in the Clothesline Project. The Clothesline Project is an art installation bearing witness to violence against women to support women’s healing process and to raise awareness about the issue. This year, the Clothesline Project will be installed in public spaces throughout Squamish. T-shirts and art supplies will be available at the Howe Sound Women’s Centre for women wanting to participate in the project.

Notice of AGM
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at the Squamish Adventure Centre (38551 Loggers Lane, Squamish, BC). Registration begins at 5:30 pm with formal proceedings to follow at 6:00 pm.
Girls Summer Camp
Inviting girls from the Sea to Sky Corridor ages 9-11 to attend our Girls Summer Camp July 30-August 4, 2018 for a week of nature, crafting, outdoor play, empowerment, talking circles and friendship building. The camp, facilitated by our PEACE program children’s counsellors, runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm daily. To register or for more information, contact the Women’s Centre at 604-892-5748.
