Following Semana Santa, Sayulita has been pretty quiet on the tourist front. A few days ago, I was taking a walk through town and was quite amazed at how few cars, golf carts, motos, and quads passed me. I was almost surprised at how little foot traffic I saw.
The weather remains very nice; warm during the days and a bit cooler in the mornings and evenings. At some point soon, I know the temperatures will turn warmer, but for now, I'm loving the weather exactly as it is. However, at the same time, I'm looking forward to our first thunderstorm.
Sayulita seems to be getting more and more restaurants, but we also have many that are established, like Matiz, which is featured in this issue of El Sayulero. Look for a feature on the new restaurant, La Barcina Seafood & Drinks, in the next issue of El Sayulero. |
