The Tithe Barn Trust believes the medieval Tithe barn in Landbeach, with thatched roof, brick threshing floor and timber granary, to be unique to Cambridgeshire and even of national significance. It is one of the few Tithe Barns in the country still standing next to its medieval rectory. Over 90% of Tithe Barns in the UK have been converted and their historic features are being lost forever. Sadly, the Tithe Barn is in a poor condition and deteriorating.

I-Spy Easter fun & Grow your own
Sun 8th April, 2pm-5pm

Spot the animals hiding around the barn and win an Easter egg. Then sow dwarf French bean seeds to take home and grow your own veg for our July competition. Refreshments available too.
Wear wellies as the grass track to the barn can be very wet this time of year!
The entrance to the Tithe Barn is along a grass track opposite 2 Waterbeach, Rd, Landbeach, CB25 9FA.

We are working to restore the Medieval Tithe Barn in Landbeach.
|

The entrance gate to the Tithe Barn is opposite 2 Waterbeach Road, Landbeach CB25 9FA and it is a nice walk along the Common to the barn.
The barn is open during events and special open days. We also welcome pre-booked education and group visits. Talks can be arranged - please contact us.
