Contribution to the VET4EU2 policy paper

Since 2009 the European Associations of VET Providers (6 associations: EVBB, EfVET, EUproVET, EURASHE, EUCEN and EVTA) have been working together to enhance and promote the expertise of providers of Vocational Education and Training at the European policy level.

Therefore, the European Commission wants  VET4EU2 platform to provide a common policy paper with some recommendations until June 2018 about what should be introduced, highlighted or changed in European VET policy post 2020.

EfVET will be represented in the writing group by the president, Santiago García Guitérrez and the vice - president policy, Hans Lehmann. This provides EfVET with a chance where we might be able influencing the future of VET.

EfVET Consultation on Mobility

Following a survey and consultation within CEDEFOP Working Group on Mobility, a presentation on main findings was held in Thessaloniki on 13/03 – please see the following document.

The presentation was very well received both by CEDEFOP as well as by DG EMPL represented by Joao Santos.

Mr. Santos found the presentation interesting and surprisingly coherent with an "extensive and expensive" research commissioned by the EC. This is relevant as will help to acquire background information and insights for the development of the EC proposal on post 2020 mobility programs.

Please provide your views and comments to complete the survey follow this link.

Please submit your opinion by Friday 13 April 2018.
