Philippe and Rebecca Straforelli - International Missions Office
PRAYfor continued healing for Philippe Straforelli. He came through his surgery well; doctors feel that they were able to get all of the tumor.
Thank you for praying...Doctors are amazed! God is answering!
PRAYfor Kristin.
Kristin has been moved out of ICU and into a private room on the neuro floor. She has a big window that she can see out of and she has been able to go outside. Her arm movements are getting better and she has sensation down to her knees. She has no memory of the 26 days she was in a coma but can remember in great detail her trip to Tanzania. Pray for her peace of mind & strength as she continues to recover.
Young Adult Missionary Kids - SUMMER JOBS
PRAYfor all of the MK's who are in Canada and needing summer jobs. Many of them count on jobs in churches through the government's summer interns program but due to changes in the application form many churches have been denied grants. Our students now have to look elsewhere for employment and since most MK's do not have a history in the country, it's difficult for them to find connections and employment.
Global Retreat 2018
PRAYfor our Global Workers who will be spending three days together following General Conference. Pray that there will be lots of laughter, pray that friendships are made, encouragement given and received. Pray that we will experience a visitation from God that will renew our hearts and shape our futures. Like John on the Island of Patmos, we pray that the Lord will place his hand on us and we will have a fresh revelation of Jesus, “the First and the Last, the Living One… who is alive for ever and ever.” (Rev 1: 17 – 18).
PRAY also that our MK's (missionary kids) will connect well with each other and make lasting friendships.
General Conference - VICTORIA
PRAYas we Picture Faithfulness, Picture Multiplication, Picture Transformational Truth, Picture the Nations, Picture the Future. We’re anticipating with enthusiasm how God will speak to us together at GC2018 as we reflect on His past and present faithfulness and receive vision to move forward with confidence and insight.
