Read about South Bronx United's accomplishments over the past year and a half. SBU continues to grow in the depth and reach of our programs. SBU now serves more than 1,100 young people annually. In the last five years, 100% of SBU Academy seniors have graduated high school and 95% have enrolled in college. Class of 2017 graduates are attending New York University, Kenyon College, Babson College, Franklin and Marshall College, SUNY Albany, Hunter College, and many others. SBU staff continues to respond to the social and political climate by ensuring that every participant in the SBU Academy and Global Youth League is screened for immigration legal services. To date, SBU has represented 27 immigrant youth in gaining legal permanent residency.
