Hey Makers!
The weather hasn't warmed up much outside but the Makerspace is nice and toasty for working on projects. Here are some updates about what is coming up in the next few weeks. We hope to see you out at the space!

Monthly Members MeetingTuesday, April 17th - 7pm
The meeting will start at the Makerspace but should be brief. After that we will head around the corner to Off Track Brewing for beer, pizza, and socialising.

Project NightSaturdays, 6-10pm
A time to work in the space when you know other people are around. It's a great night to come out if you're looking for help with a project or if you just feel like socialising while you work. Or you could start helping us with our latest group project: a 6' long Millennium Falcon. Inspired by Allan Carver's recent TIE fighter build, we're planning on building the Falcon onto a motorised base. Maybe we can drive it around in some parades or just show it off at Hal-Con. It should be a fun build, drawing from a lot of different skill sets. We are hoping to draw at least a handful of members to help with the build. Absolutely no experience is necessary. The types of projects are just as much about learning new skills as they are about finishing the build. Join us on Project Nights and/or start engaging with us on the Google Group discussion list.
