We've spent a whole semester revisiting and reexamining the events, attitudes, and movements of 1968 around the globe. To wrap up our series, the UCIS Center Directors will lead a discussion about their own research and reflections on the legacies of 1968.

Join us for the third meeting of the European Colloquium, in which graduate students and faculty from both Pitt and CMU come together to discuss current research on European topics. We hope that everyone will bring not only their lunch, but also their questions and comments to what will hopefully become an ongoing conversation. Italian Film Fest 
April 5-21  

The Italian Film Festival is coming to theaters near you! Beginning April 5, award-winning Italian films will premiere on Pitt's campus. All films offer free admission, and will be shown in Italian with English subtitles. Check out the film schedule on our page.

The ESC is proud to welcome award-winning Dutch author Marente de Moor to Pittsburgh! Her second novel, The Dutch Maiden, won the EU Prize for Literature, and she will be giving a public reading in the Carnegie Library in Oakland.
