Hello, Patriot!
On Saturday, April 14th, the Christian Family Coalition (CFC) Florida and Florida Citizens’ Alliance (FLCA) joined forces to host the very first major candidates’ forum of this election cycle. The 2018 Southwest Florida Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidates breakfast was at the Covenant Church in Naples, Florida.
Nearly 200 participants, including key opinion leaders from the corporate, political, and faith-based communities were in attendance.
Major statewide candidates who appeared included (left-to-right in the image below) Congressman Ron DeSantis (leading candidate for Florida Governor), Judge Ashley Moody, and State Representative Ross Spano. Moody and Spano are both leading candidates for Florida Attorney General.
CFC Florida and FLCA issued the following joint statement:
“We are honored to have been the first Florida organizations to host a major candidates breakfast to elect our next Governor and Attorney General. We are honored that these leading candidates accepted our invitation to speak to our important constituencies about their vision for the Sunshine State. It is a testament to the successful ongoing work of both CFC and FLCA in Southwest Florida and Tallahassee.
