Celebrate Mothers with MOMS
And raise funds for new training materials
In case you haven’t heard, we’re throwing a party to celebrate the mothers we love! Come join us on Sunday, May 13th from 2-5pm at The Coast Highway Artists Collective Gallery and shop for a cause.
We’re banding together with talented artists to raise $3,000 to replace many of our old, worn out training resources (no, Trish & Chris are the exception!). Artists, such as Ling Yen and Burns Wood Designs will be donating a percentage of their profits that day to MOMS, so you can grab a gift and give the gift of education to aspiring Community Health Workers in Sierra Leone.
We will also have Alpha Seisay - "Junior", our Country Director, with us to meet you and answer questions. He is so excited about attending this event! Further, we will have MOMS’ Volunteer Extraordinaire, Elizabeth Price, who has made three teaching trips and will join us again in the Fall.
Wondering what your impact could be? If we reach our goal, we’ll be able to outfit our Sierra Leonean Head Trainer Jitta and her team, so we can lead additional trainings simultaneously. That’s right- you’d be helping us double our impact. RSVP to attend here!
