2018 Yoga Teacher Training Graduates and Mentors

Each year we offer a Yoga Teacher Training Program as an opportunity for those who are inclined to dive deeper into self exploration, though the tools and techniques of Yoga. Each year, some of those folks are called for personal reasons to tap into something within themselves they long to connect with, and some are called hoping to create a new livelihood, inspired to share what they love.  

One of the very first realizations is that Yoga is not about the pose. It's not about the technique or the tools. It's about awareness and acceptance. Only from there is adjustment or involution possible.

I have been honoured to be a trusted guide, mentor, and witness for many openings over the years. I have learned that the exploration happens on its own, once the attention is attuned to the presence of awareness. There is less and less I need to “do” to make anything happen. I trust the unfolding and each person's process as it happens. It's a true honour to congratulate these yogis for their exploration and opening into them selves. Recognizing this is the beginning of a moment by moment revealing, whether they choose to teach or not.  

Special gratitude for the dedication, love and loyal support of Anandi Saraswati Grieve, Melissa Lyons, John McDougal and Lesley Morgan as mentors, they are rock solid and also ROCK!

I have been practicing Yoga for the last ten years. The benefits of Yoga are amazing! I love how it works your whole body and strengthens the core, legs and muscles. At the same time it relieving stress, boosts your immune system, clears your mind and improves your flexibility. Learning how to breathe in and out woke up my mind, body and spirit while opening my heart.

Yoga makes me glow!
