New location in downtown Highland!

Moving into town!

 

The time has come to move my group classes out of my home studio. The final day of classes here will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018. On May 7th, classes will begin in the venue space at Windows on Broadway, 401 Broadway in Highland. It is a beautiful, open space which has plenty of room and plenty of parking! It is between Michael’s Restaurant and Casey’s General Store. We will use the Venue Entrance which faces Broadway.
 
For now, the class schedule will remain the same. I am currently teaching Gentle Yoga, Energy Yoga, Yoga Strength, Yoga for Stress and Full Body Fitness. There are classes for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. 

You can view the class descriptions and schedule here. Please reach out if you have questions about classes or would like to discuss your needs in a yoga class. I also offer private lessons, yoga therapy (yoga for mental and/or physical health conditions) and personal training.

Cats on Mats Was A Success!


On February 27th close to 40 cat-loving people gathered at Windows on Broadway to do yoga in the company of felines to raise money for the Highland Animal Shelter. More than $800 was raised in class fees and donations, and a car-full of wish list items were delivered to the shelter! William, the white cat, was quite entertaining! Looking to the Future. 

The current session of The Essence of Yoga - A Beginner's Series wraps up on May 1st. This has been a great workshop for all involved, including me. It's always worthwhile to go back and be a beginner - even for the most practiced student. There is continued interest in this workshop and will offer it again. 

As we approach summer, it is time for me to take a break from workshops and spend some time regrouping. 2018 has been quite a year for me so far in terms of being stretched beyond my comfort zone in many ways. My YogaFit career has blossomed even more. I am traveling many weekends to share the gift of yoga. Things on my schedule this year include taking a 4-day course on yoga for cancer, hosting a therapy ball practitioner who will teach some workshops and offer private sessions, and visiting the motherland of yoga - India - with my YogaFit tribe.

Moving my classes to a new space is exciting and scary at the same time. There is comfort in staying where you are, but a larger space can accommodate more students, allowing more to benefit from the gift of yoga and wellness. I appreciate you spreading the word about my new location so I can reach even more people.
