SUP THE CITY FROM THE ONE&ONLY CAPE TOWN

15th & 16th May 2018

We get started with a quick coffee and a briefing on the water’s edge at Reuben’s Terrace at The One&Only.  Our experienced guides lead you on a gentle paddle of the V&A canal system through the early morning mist taking in the magnificent view of Table Mountain being lit up by the morning sun (hopefully!).

SuitabilityNo prior Stand Up Paddle experience needed. This will be flat water with a short induction to the sport. You need to be a confident swimmer. The boards we use are very stable.

Packing List: No shoes needed as the boards have a good grip. Swimming shorts or similar, light top and non-absorbent warmer top. Spare warm clothes including tracksuit or trousers and a warm top. Towels, refreshment and breakfast treats will be provided.

REVIVE THE SENSES MEDITATIVE YOGA AT THE SILO

15th & 16th May 2018

We head straight to the Sky Terrace of The Silo Hotel for a session of contemplative yoga as we watch the sun light up the city. Take a plunge in the roof top pool as you watch the city wake up below, followed by delectable treats to really set the tone for your day.

SuitabilityAnyone with a zest for life and can swim without arm bands. (The pool is 1.1 meters throughout and heated to 25 Degrees.)
 
Packing List: Swimwear and warm clothes to change into afterwards. The Silo Spa will be available to change in. Warm blankets, towels and robes provided (no showers).

DEEP BEHIND THE SCENES WITH THE TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM

15th & 16th May 2018

A never done before immersive experience awaits as we explore the underwater world...
An exclusive and unique behind the scenes journey discovering fascinating knowledge and insights about the Southern African marine animals.

Suitability A unique experience suitable for all standards.

Packing List: Swimwear and warm clothes to change into afterwards. (Comfortable, breathable clothes as well as fleece or jersey.)

TAME THE LION - HIKE LIONS HEAD

15th & 16th May 2018

Circle Lions Head to a view point (not the top) on an invigorating morning hike taking in 360 degree views of the Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl and Table Mountain. Sit back with some breakfast treats watching the sunrise over the city bowl before circling back down the mountain.

SuitabilityAnyone who can hike at a steady pace for 1 hour. There is a steep incline and not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.

Packing List: Good trainers (hiking shoes can be worn but not essential). Wear layers as the temperature in May is hard to predict, warm fleece or jumper, water-proof jacket if you have one. Water and hiking snacks will be provided.

TAME THE LION - TRAIL RUN AROUND LIONS HEAD

15th & 16th May 2018

Follow a contour path around Lions Head. With no steep climbs this trail circles rather than climbs Lions Head on a single track hiking path, one of the city’s most awe-inspiring trail runs. A medium to slow pace in a group run to blow away the morning cobwebs. Starting under torch light while the sun rises over the city bowl.

SuitabilityAnyone who can run for 60 minutes or complete 10kms on the road. There will be regular stops and the pace will be a gentle.  (Distance 7km/4.5 Miles). 

Packing List: Good trainers. Wear layers as the temperature in May is hard to predict, warm fleece or jumper, water-proof jacket if you have one. Water and hiking snacks will be provided.

PRIVATE SUNRISE OPENING OF TABLE MOUNTAIN

17th May 2018 

Exclusive opening of Table Mountain Cable Way for WAA Tribe to watch the sun rising over the city. Stay at the Summit Café and enjoy the view with some breakfast treats or venture out on a scenic hike or trail run with our experienced mountain guides. 

SuitabilityThis adventure has something for everyone from the sightseers to the mountain goats.

Packing List: Come dressed for the cold temperature even on a good day in May is much cooler on the top of the mountain. Wear layers including warm fleece or jumper and if available bring a windbreaker. Refreshments and breakfast treats will be provided.

REVIVE THE TRIBE

15th, 16th and 17th May 2018

Make the most of your free Networking breaks and join us pitchside at Cape Town Stadium. Experience our unique take on a campfire coffee called Moer Koffie: ‘Moer’ is Afrikaans’s for ‘hit very hard’ expect a good morning wake up! Be sure to have a taste of Aunty Caroline’s baked treats and many other nibbles from the Noordhoek Farm Village, a true taste of the Peninsula.
 
Our adventure guides will also be on hand with African inspired refreshments that will pick you up, soothe sore throats and add a much needed pick up to your day.

What to Expect: Meet Africa’s most inspiring private adventure guides and learn how you can add the edge to your African offering. Flush away the excess with African inspired Uber ice tea and flavoured water. Expect something on the naughty side in the afternoon to fire you up for the evening ahead.

POST SHOW DECOMPRESSION IN THE DEEP SOUTH

18th May 2018

10 AM departure on a scenic drive to Simon's Town, home of the African Penguin and more. We are channelling penguin walks, SUP or Kayaking the pristine beaches and for the more adventurous a paddle to Arch Rock. We will end the show with a tribe beach picnic like none before with plenty of refreshments and games for all. 

Suitability: A unique experience suitable for all standards.
