CALL NEWS
Call Returned
-Mr. Paul Huebner returned the Call to teach at Illinois Lutheran High School in Crete, IL We keep ILHS in our prayers as they continue the Call process to find a band director.
-Pastor Paul Brug returned his Call to teach German at Michigan Lutheran Seminary. We keep MLS in our prayers as they continue to Call process to find a German instructor.
What is a "Call?"
We believe that it is the Lord, through the church, who calls people to serve in the public ministry. Individuals already serving in public ministry who receive a call to serve in another field prayerfully deliberate both calls they hold. One of the ways they do this is by examining one's gifts; understanding the duties of both calls and how one's gifts will be best utilized; and considering feedback from colleagues, family and members of the school and congregation. Called workers have the confidence that God will bless their decision.
