Helping Puerto Rico

UXPA International supports the local community

As the UXPA International 2018 Conference quickly approaches, we've been looking for additional ways to support the local community and the rebuilding efforts that are underway. We are proud bring our great event to the area, but we wanted to do more! Therefore we decided to donate the majority of our promotional purchasing budget for the conference (i.e., conference swag) to Direct Relief for Puerto Rico. We will also be hosting a local market at the conference that will feature local artisans and vendors.

Meet the Experts - June 15

The User Experience field is rapidly growing. People with various backgrounds and experiences have entered. Every year, at the UXPA International conferences, we hear chats about how people got into UX, what their first jobs looked like, how long it took for them to learn UX and things they wished they knew when they started. With the increasing interest in the field, these types of questions pop up very often in various channels. To address these prevalent discussions, we invited 4 UX professionals from different disciplines (design, research, strategy) to talk about their experiences breaking into UX and succeeding at it. Join us on Friday, June 15th for this one-of-a-kind panel!
