The move is complete! It’s real!
I’ve packed up all my belongings and headed South to Arkansas. (Well, let’s be real—I didn’t pack it but you get the point.)
This is week 1 of my brand new journey, and I’m excited to see how my life changes here in The Natural State. One thing that hasn’t changed? My content.
As my husband and I prepare to close on our first home together, and I finalize arrangements for my car, I realize how child-like my New York existence was. Only 6 days into my time in Arkansas, my definition of adulthood has shifted dramatically. I’m reflecting on growing up in this week’s essay.
And, I’m gaining inspiration from others who are creating great art regardless of their location, like Yoyo Lander.
