The Gateway Series
THIRD BOOK
Expect a 2019 release
You may remember that in my last newsletter I said that my third book, " is extremely close to completion and ready for editing". Well it was but I had to put it aside for TWO YEARS due to house moves and family priorities! Picking it up again this January I have reworked most of it, honing it down as it was too long. A break really helped me to see it with fresh eyes. I am very excited about it as it is really "taking shape" and I can see its imminent completion.
BOOK 3 is about using sacred geometry within the Gateway to the Heavens in a variety of ways to experience it and use it as a vehicle for self development. It is more practical than theoretical and uses material from the first two books in the series.
Once the manuscript is submitted it will be at least a year before it appears in the bookshops and this year I will be spending many, many hours at a screen doing the diagrams and reviewing spreads!
CARD DECK and other projects
A deck of cards based on the geometry in the Gateway Series, colours and Classical Elements is also underway! Possibly even two, with the second using my artwork.
Meanwhile material is collecting rapidly for book 4 in the Gateway Series and its purpose is clarifying. I also have the outline manuscript for a paperback book that includes various simple activities for working with sacred geometry. So there is plenty on its way...

Squares provide the stage for life to act on, they designate sacred spaces in temples and areas for activities to happen. Unlike a Circular space in which energy goes round and round, in a Square it is held and directed. I have been exploring their function to hold, stabilise and set out an area of space, within which the energetic dynamics are contained.
Like any shape and symbol it has its positive and negative traits depending upon the contextual intent within which it is used. To experience the impact of Squares on you try the Boxed In guided visualisation (see below).
Painting above: Squared
Using square grids we can break up space to designate specific areas. In this square painting it's area has been sub-divided into varying sizes and grids. Within each square are smaller squares reducing down to the ultimate, singular Point that is infinitely small and contains the code for all of reality. All of space, of any size, is contained by it.

Boxed In
A guided visualisation
On the theme of squares this simple guided visualisation will help you appreciate how they are relevant to your perception of space.
Sit or lie comfortably and close your eyes. When you have finished ground yourself and drink some water.
- Imagine yourself in front of a door.
- Open the door and enter a vast room.
- In the centre is an open glass box. Walk up to it and climb in. The glass box will close. Feel it pressing in on all sides and look through it into space; the stars, coloured galaxies, planets surround you.
- Now the glass box gets bigger, the sides move away in all directions and you are at its centre...it gradually expands until you want it to stop or cannot see its sides.
- The sides are returning, getting smaller until the box feels very present around you. Stop it shrinking at a size you like.
- The box opens and you climb out.
- In front of you is your door. Open in and you find your self back where you started.
- Feel your body sensations, open your eyes and ground yourself.
Notice your comfort level with the different sizes of area you experienced and when your box expanded and contracted.
How did being in the box make you feel, secure and protected, or restricted?
What is the size of your final glass box?
Consider any negative emotions and what they are showing you.
Through guided visualiations you can gain incredible insights into your self. Imagery and symbolism are ways of sharing information that words sometimes cannot express eloquently or adequately enough.

Resting
Continuing from the last newsletter... Resting is taking much longer than expected to complete. Its theme is manifesting in its creation! Whenever I work on it I get to a stage where I need to leave it to do something else and then realise I haven't explored it for a while. This doesn't happen with other pieces, which I will do until I feel they are complete (even though some may be added to later).
I will show you how Resting is progressing in my next newsletter. A complete history of its interim stages are posted on my blog.

Ultra Violet
Pantone Colour 2018
A stunning purple violet 18-3838 is the PANTONE colour for 2018. Tyrian (Imperial) purple tones were made out the secretion of predatory sea snails and used to be extremely expensive to produce, hence purple's association with royalty and special ceremonies. Purple became an affordable dye around 1856 when the English chemist William H Perkin noticed that a compound from synthesised quinine dyed fabrics purple. Then in 1859 the colour was renamed "mauve" after the French name for the purple mallow flower. Interestingly, it is only recently that purple printing has featured more on product packaging as the main colour.
The use of purple-toned lighting in meditation spaces and other gathering places energizes the communities that gather there and inspire connection.
"Complex and contemplative, Ultra Violet suggests the mysteries of the cosmos, the intrigue of what lies ahead, and the discoveries beyond where we are now. The vast and limitless night sky is symbolic of what is possible and continues to inspire the desire to pursue a world beyond our own." PANTONE
