We have lots of volunteer opportunities coming up this month!
On
Wednesday, May 2nd, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, we will have
Part 1 of
installing park benches. This first round of work will involve pouring concrete pads for the benches at 2 - 3 locations around the park. This will require moderate to heavy activity levels and 4 or 5 volunteers are needed. Volunteers will meet up at the Delaware Lake Shelter. Contact the Friends to sign up:

Saturday, May 5th, from 9:30 am - noon, Dick and Carol Schwartz will lead the first
garlic mustard blitz of the year. Meet them at the Cherry Tree parking lot for some invasive removal action! Activity level is light. Let the Friends know you're coming at:

Saturday May 5th from noon to 1:30 pm will be
Part 2 of the Park Bench installation. Volunteers will meet at the Delaware Lake Shelter and help install the benches onto the concrete pads. This activity will require light to moderate exertion. Contact the Friends to sign up:

Saturday May 12th, from 9:00 to 11:30 am, the Friends will be conducting repairs to the
Visitor Center waterfall. The old pond liner will be removed and replaced. This will require moving a number of large stones, so the activity level will be heavy. Let us know if you can help out:

On the evening of
Friday, May 18 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Friends will
re-mulch and re-plant the repaired waterfall area at the Visitors Center. Activity level will be light so let us know if you can join us:
