Did you know that Sara moved to Colorado from New York City? New York City?! Yep, from city girl to mountain girl, and it turned out to be such a great decision. Sara became passionate about the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when she found how healing it was for her own trauma regarding 9/11. She now has been helping others heal with this modality since 2012.
Sara is married to an outdoorsman and has the "state" car and dog (you guessed it- Subaru and Golden Retriever!).
Sara is passionate about making mental health care accessible in varied forms. Because of this, Conifer Counseling has expanded to three locations in the foothills, including an integrative wellness center in Evergreen. She has also been trained in Nutritional Coaching and loves providing mental health supervision and consultation.

Been thinking about how to get away without having to get away?
Awesome benefits to a "staycation" include:
- Time to do what your soul desires (radical acceptance of yourself and your time)
- Gratitude (appreciating home)
- Cultivating relationships (time to see those local peeps)
