If you’ve been following our events this season, blog posts and social media then you’ve noticed this is Growing Season!
Scripturaly, historically and in modern times, the period of time between Passover/Easter and Shavuot/Pentecost is a season for harvesting. We learn to watch over what we’ve planted and how to sow seeds in faith, righteousness, peace and JOY.
This time of Planting and Harvest is important because it allows us to make fertile the soil of our hearts to receive the Word of God (See the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13) so that we can know how it is we should run our race (Read my Prophetic Word from April “It’s Running Season”).
Knowing your identity in Christ’s Kingdom is essential to you’re being able to fulfill all the plans God has for you. This awareness can only be realized by actively participating in the renewing of your mind. Our Kingdom Identity Study with Ivonne Sherman’s Schoolhouse of Freedom is continuing this fall and we invite you to join us, especially if you’ve never taken any courses on discovering your identity in Christ (you can email her directly to get all the details at ivonne@nomoredrybones.com). But there are many other ways to jump into the renewal process NOW by taking advantage of this Harvest Season and Counting the Omer with me, reading the Daily Psalms as our Jewish brethren do, or even taking 3 minutes to consider your mindset by following 3MinuteMindset and their daily words of encouragement.
No matter what you choose to do, it’s just important that you make the choice to renew your mind and start doing it TODAY! Renewal and transformation takes time. Seeds are not fully bloomed in a day. Allow the Holy Spirit to grow in you patience and endurance for the journey, and Remember, we are each called to Grow in Grace!

DID YOU KNOW 🌱 Likewise, the Water aptly applied can cause the seed to spring back to life. Though the mark of death is still visible, it is but a scar of its former days. We have each been given New Life!
Jesus is the Living water, “whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” {John 4:14}

DID YOU KNOW 🌱 A seed that is not given enough room to grow will let its roots continue to grow round and round it’s vessel until eventually it strangles itself and dies. We must become aware that our vessels are capable of expanding and do the necessary work to see to our expansion in soul, body and spirit so that our roots have room to grow long and deep!
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. {Jeremiah 17:8}
