Grow It in a Pot!

Registration required.
No time to weed?  No land to till? Want to grow your own dinner?  This program will present ways and means (and seeds!) with which to start your own raised bed and container garden.  Whether it’s greens or herbs or even tomatoes, you can grow a garden in places like balconies and patios.  Even if you have an in-ground garden, this presentation will show you how to use containers as a pest management and crop rotation tool.  Come learn about soil, light, watering, variety selection and more for successfully growing a garden of edibles in a container. Program presented by Master Gardeners from the Virginia Cooperative Extension. To register for this program, please stop by the library’s Reference Desk or call 703-248-5035 (TTY 711).
