Welcome to the Leila Sales books newsletter!

If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say comes out next week

And the week is going to be HUGE. Here's what's happening:

This Sunday, April 29, I'll be at McNally Jackson for the NYC launch party. Not only will I talk about and sign the book, but I also be joined by guests whose own lives and careers have intersected with internet attacks.

There will be wine and extremely thematic baked goods. And a voluntary interactive component! Bring a critical comment that you've received online for a cathartic opportunity to rise above the trolls. Think of it as our own "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets."

Then, on Tuesday, May 1, I'll be at Brookline Booksmith for the Boston launch party. This event will be moderated by social psychologist Amy Cuddy, the bestselling author of Presence, whose TED talk on "power posing" has been viewed nearly 50 million times. I am so excited to speak with Amy about public shaming and anticipate a fascinating evening to share with you.

Reviewers love If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say

“A sharp, incisive novel about culpability in the digital age.”–Booklist

Once you've read the book, leave your own review on Goodreads or Amazon.

That's all for now! If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say comes out on Tuesday. I hope you love it!
