Merry Merry Month of May

May 2018 Newsletter

May is almost here! I really do love the Merry Merry Month of May in Tucson. Everything is really blooming including the yellow flowers on the palo verde trees, all the cactus with bright flowers of many colors, the oleanders, bougainvilleas and lantana but most importantly the saguaros!

Although many of the outside world views Arizona as a barren desert, to look at it from an aerial view, you would see that it really is quite green and lush.

There is beauty everywhere and each area has its own special glory! All you have to do is stop and smell the roses. (and yes, we have them too.)

For dolls, the definition has been stretched to around 80 years and over, which makes many collectible composition dolls antiques. Everything else up to the 90s or so is generally considered vintage.  Some experienced antique doll dealers and auctioneers use the terms 18th century, 19th century, and 20th century to refer to various dolls from the era.   Read more »
