April 2018 Update

Earlier this month, the Executive Sponsors Group announced an extension of the Enterprise Project timeline by one year. After careful consideration, the group determined that additional time will enhance current work, while also allowing Ohio State to evaluate promising opportunities. A commitment to advancing the Time and Change strategic plan remains at the heart of this project.

The Enterprise Project continues to design and build Ohio State’s Workday environment. The business areas in scope for the project are in various stages of this effort, but all are engaged in activities that move the university closer to realizing improved business operations. Read more.

A First Look at Business Processes

Stakeholder feedback is critical to the Enterprise Project’s success. One method of capturing feedback is customer confirmation sessions, which are targeted opportunities for small groups of stakeholders to review partially built processes in Workday. Customer confirmation sessions will happen at various times for business areas, and additional opportunities for capturing feedback will occur throughout the Enterprise Project.

Faculty Advisory Committee

The Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) represents the specific interests of faculty throughout the work of the Enterprise Project. The FAC has been engaged in the project by providing feedback from the faculty perspective.

Enterprise Project Puts Students First

The guiding principles driving the Enterprise Project’s student areas are rooted in elevating the student experience. New Communication Toolkit Available

Change Coordinators will be the primary points of contact for their colleagues who would like to know more about the Enterprise Project. A new communication toolkit has been created to help Change Coordinators and others with sharing information and answering questions. Key messages, PowerPoint slides and graphics (including a Brutus Buckeye appearance!) about the project and Workday are available for your convenience.
