Innovative Pharmacy Solutions, located at 1716 S. Kelly, is a compounding pharmacy specializing in targeted nutrition and natural products. Originally formed within Hospital Discount Pharmacy at 2nd and Bryant in the mid-1990s, the compounding and nutrition portion of the business that would become Innovative Pharmacy began to outgrow the space and workforce there. In late August 1998, the two components were separated and both continue to thrive today.

As the first compounding only pharmacy in the Oklahoma City Metro Area, the pharmacy offers niche products and custom solutions. Over the last twenty years, Innovative Pharmacy has created thousands of custom formulations and only carries commercially available medications that are hard-to-source, high patient value or convenience items. Owner Dave Mason, Dph., has had success trademarking and is receiving national exposure for some of his products. The pharmacy staff continues to look for new and different ways to serve patients, both human and animal.

Innovative Pharmacy is a problem-solving, compounding pharmacy, working closely with patients and physicians to provide medicine that can and will be taken. The pharmacy also encourages a healthier existence without medications that only manage symptoms at a cost to the body.

The pharmacy offers several guaranteed protocols and has also seen encouraging patient responses from protocols for auto-immunity, pain and gastrointestinal symptoms. Mason recently worked with a couple whose daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. After taking Mason's advice on supplements and lifestyle, the JRA markers were gone. Staff members are uplifted by customer feedback on how products and solutions are improving lives.
