Summer Growth Leads to New Partnership

Every year we have added more to our summer programming, and this year is no different. This year we have  added four full day camps, which has led us to connect and partner with a new company to handle our registrations. Active Network, LLC, a multinational corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas,provides software as a service for activity and participant management. Their Active's Camp Manager is an all-in-one online registration, camp management and marketing software solution that will help streamline our operations moving forward. Active Network  will be handling all of our camp registrations and payments this summer and we are also working with them to set up our clinics and private lessons registrations later this year. 
   

Some of the initial advantages of this partnership that you can expect:

1. Early Bird Registration Discount of $50
2. Register for Multiple Camps at one time
3. Multi Person Discount of 15% (two or more siblings)
4. Multi Camp Discount of 25% (If attending a Coed camp and the boys /girls camp)
5. $75 deposit is minimum requirement to get registered, balance due by first day of camp

A Place to Call Home

We have been operating out of Salisbury Academy from day one and we are very grateful for the opportunity the school has provided us to get up and running. When we started our program over three years ago, it was always our goal to acquire a facility to call our own. Well, there is a facility, Competitive Sports (Advantage Gymnastics) on Corporate Circle here is Salisbury that is for sale and it would be the perfect acquisition for JLT Fieldhouse, Inc.

Purchasing this facility will allow us to continue our lesson, clinic and camp programs, but also take us to the next chapter of our journey. That chapter includes the implementation of our Innovation Center,  that will bring together the two entities that make up JLT Fieldhouse... "Students" and "Athletes". Education precedes athletics and we want to ensure that remains true. Our Education plan and vision was put together by a former player, Dr. Michael Torrence, president of Motlow State Community College and my older brother "Dr. T", Dr. Marvin Thompson, an award winning educator who was featured in the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's award winning docu-series,"Blackboard Wars."  

Some of the other programs that we will be able to establish and maintain with our own facility include:

• Lift Up America's Ambassadors of Compassion Mentoring Program- We partnered with them last year to facilitate this program
• Recreational outlet for Home Schooled Children
• Continued partnerships with other nonprofits in our community; Prevent Child Abuse Rowan and Meals on Wheels
• Official AAU Sanctioned Events; tournaments, clinics, leagues, coaching conferences, etc.
• Official USA Basketball Youth Development Programs
• And More!

          

So, in order for this to become a reality, it will require a "Team" effort. We are putting our wheels in motion to make our dream a reality. We will continue our fundraising efforts, which will include a GoFundMe Nonprofit campaign.  We are also in the process of setting up a few Group Raise projects with local restaurants, in which you will have the opportunity to contribute directly and indirectly with our fundraising.
