Music Lessons for summer?

With summer vast approaching, it’s important for students to have fun and have a wonderful summer, if your child is enrolled in music lessons it’s a good idea to continue lessons throughout the summer, here’s why? After the school year comes to an end, Children are likely to have more availability and time to spare, which leaves room for students to practice whether their instrument of choice includes piano, guitar, violin, flute, voice etc.

It’s important to keep the consistency in a child’s practice in order to ensure what they have learned in their lesson is framed in their memory and to see how it is benefiting them, over time it will improve their skills and help throughout the course of their continued music lessons to advance and excel. The saying “Practice makes perfect” is something to remember this summer, when a student’s displays an act of dedication and effort so to speak for their instrument they are susceptible to work hard to reach their goals all is takes is practice. Music lessons bring joy to students whether that be learning a new piano ballad, learning how to sing a new song, and or playing the violin. This summer continue your music lessons and continue to strive and reach your music learning goals.

April Students of the Month
Rachel Tao

Instructor Comments(Ms. Carrie) :
 Rachel Tao has been chosen as my student of the month the reason I pick her is due to her great improvement in the past month, and she practice everyday for 1 hour.

Aiden Lim

Instructor Comments(Mr. Justin) :
Aiden will be the month of student in April because he prepared well lessons and also played awesome on the TV show concerts. I wish he will keep working hard.

Olivia Yaffe

Instructor Comments(Mr. Greg) :
My student of the month is Olivia. She is a wonderful student - always early to lessons and always ready to start. Olivia has a passion for her studies in piano and voice and it shows week after week in her preparation and the “A-game” she brings. We have a great time in class, working hard and having fun at the same time. She never complains, even if she is sick or tired. She also asks thoughtful questions and isn’t afraid to try new things. I’m very proud of her and the work we have accomplished together!

Avery Gerney

Instructor Comments(Mr. Matthew) :
I’d like to pick Avery as student of the month. Avery has been progressing through her first guitar book at such a rapid pace. She’s been able to play along to recordings of songs she’s been learning. She even learns songs coming up in the book that we haven’t got to yet. Keep up the good work!

Manuel Muriel

Instructor Comments(Ms. Kalina) :
Manuel has been chosen as student of the month because of his dedication  for going above and beyond during his piano lessons. He pays close attention to details and makes sure that his work is not only accurate, but also of the utmost quality. Way to go, Manuel!

Charlie La Punzina

Instructor Comments(Ms. Anne) :
Charlie L. has been chosen as student of the month because of his improvements in this past month due to his hard work and his parents fully supporting him.

Bernard Jean Marie

Instructor Comments(Ms. Alice) :
I choose Bernard for student of the month. He has shown a great deal of progress as a result of hard work and a real enthusiasm for the violin. I hope he continues lessons when he moves to Long Island!

Janny Mejia

Instructor Comments(Ms. Stav) :
My choice for April's student of the month is Janny. Janny is a hard-working singer who is not afraid of challenges. In the short time we have been working together, Janny has made great progress and expended her repertoire in an inspiring way. It's always a pleasure to hear her sing.

Jenna Weiss

Instructor Comments(Ms. Vivi) :
I choose Jenna. She’s very concentrated during lesson and always practices and make progresses each week. I’m very proud of her.

Marisa Varadi

Instructor Comments(Ms. Jill) :
Marisa will be my student of the month for April.  She has been working hard  tuning a song (Cossack ride) for her spring concert at her school.

Telmuun Chinzorig

Instructor Comments(Mr. Zong) :
I'd like to choose Telmuun Chinzorig as the student of the month. Telmuun improved a lot by his hard working. he practices usually more than one hour a day, he can perfectly finish the assignments. In addition, he usually preview the new pieces without my instructions, that impressed me a lot.  As the reasons I mentioned, I believe Telmuun deserves this recognition.

Leo Penkovsky

Instructor Comments(Ms. Viann) :
I would like to pick Leo as student of the month. Because he always have everything prepared! Every lesson I would write notes and some homework assignments on his notebook, and he would always have it fully prepared by next class. He also focuses really well in class!
