WE Speaks Quality of Life Plan

The time has arrived for ArtWorks to begin our very first ArtWorks mural in the West End.  Powerful and positive text-based art of internationally recognized artist, Susan O’Malley will be the focus and is sure to brighten the West End with bold colors and uplifting messages.  ArtWorks employees have interacted with West End neighborhood residents at community engagement sessions that will ask neighborhood residents to share their wisdom with the community.
The next engagement session will also be on 5/3 at the Opportunity Fair at Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses.
Community members can join in on the fun by attending one of two "Paint With Me Days".

The volunteer painting sessions will be held on Saturday, May 12 & May 19, from Noon - 3pm. Volunteers must be age 14 or older with parental supervision if under the age of 18. Please call 513-407-5362 for more information.

DIFFERENCE MAKER

SisterLink is a group of ladies that meet once a week at Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses.  What started as a group for young mothers, has grown into a multi-generation group of women who have bonded together on multiple levels.  They have planned fun community events such as wine tastings and written a book together entitled "HerStory". Copies are  available for $10 at Seven Hills.

As many of us know, the West End is a food desert.  The SisterLink group came together and worked to have a petition signed by hundreds of West End residents to get more healthy and fresh foods in our community.  Because of their efforts the Healthy Harvest Mobile Market visits the West End every Friday from 10am - Noon and is one of the most popular sites for the market.  Membership to the SisterLink group is open and free so please join in on the movement! They meet every Wednesday from 5:30 - 7pm  at Seven Hills with dinner and daycare provided.

The West End is rich with history and stories. Share your West End story so we all can learn and grow closer as a community. Contact Tia Brown at tia.brown@7hillsnh.com or call 513-407-5362.

SEE YOU THERE
