Wexford Food Bulletin

We are making great progress in presenting Official Supporters with their lovely plaques - here are just a few of the presentations made in the past week or so. Please do let me know of any restaurant, cafe, shop who should be acknowledged for their support of Wexford producers and I will contact them to get the process started.
Current supporters in the hospitality / food service sector (must stock a minimum of 6 members' products) are listed here and those in the retail sector (must stock a min. of 10 members' products) are listed here.
Visit Wexford has offered to list Official Supporters on their new website, which is a big help in acknowledging the efforts they make to support local producers.
If you want to nominate an establishment to become an official supporter, email Paula - paula@wexfordfoodfamily.com.

County Wexford Festival Dates

Please note dates of upcoming festivals in County Wexford that will have food elements. The Wexford Food Festival (formerly Wexford Food and Wine Festival) are now taking bookings for stalls. Please let me know if you are booking into any of these events so that we can ensure there is a Wexford producers branded area.

Enniscorthy Rockin' Food : 3rd - 6th August : The organisers have put together a great deal for members of the Wexford Food Family - €150 for a 3m x 3m stand for producers and €300 for a 3x3 food to go stand - see details here. Pitches being booked up fast - opportunity to have Wexford Food Family producers together but you must make your booking now. Contact info@joconnellmarketing.com for information.

Towers and Tales festival is taking place in Lismore Castle on 5th May. The cost of a pitch is €100. Please email carolinebusher@hotmail.com to book or for more information.

Wexford Food Family Trade Directory 2018

We are almost there with our first trade directory.

Thank you to all of the producers who sent in content for this beautiful production - this was free to all members and there was even a free photography grant to help members to get the right photos.
Thank you to the Local Enterprise Office Wexford for their support on this project.
The directory will go to print this week and will be available online.

Eat Wexford Guide

Our next project is the Eat Wexford brochure which was so successful the last two years.

This is a consumer (domestic and tourist) guide to the foods produced in County Wexford and where best to find them.

All of the members of the Wexford Food Family will be listed for free and there will be the opportunity to have a small feature on your brand / business for a small charge (last year it was €89, it should be the same or less this year).

The Official Supporters of the Wexford Food Family will be listed free of charge too with the option of having a logo included for a small charge.

Please look out for details on the Eat Wexford Guide in the coming weeks and please get your content in as early as possible. If you have already sent in photos for the Trade Directory, we can certainly use them.

Entries are now open for the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards - you can enter here. Early bird entry closes today.
