It's on!

Hi Everyone,

We were overwhelmed by your feedback and show of support after my email earlier this week. Thank you, sincerely. Your enthusiasm and belief in this project has strengthened my determination, renewed my faith and made this enormous undertaking all a little less scary. 

To recap, the total project budget is $175,000. 75% is covered by a federal grant. I am responsible for 25% in matching funds. To raise this, I will be using the balance from our 2014 crowd funding campaign (thank you!!), as well as selling a portion of the land. I will still be $25,000 short on matching funds. If we raise over $25k, those funds will go directly to Phase III, including a new roof, clapboard repair/replacement, and window repair/replacement; basically, fortifying the exterior.

I'm putting together a short crowd funding video for those not yet familiar with the project and will be rolling out the official campaign soon. In the meantime, if you are on board to contribute now, here is the link to donate. I'll be writing the first check for 1/2 of our matching funds next week, and with your help, will be paying the balance in 45 days.
