Residents are encouraged to participate in spring Community Clean Sweep Day

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, May 2, 2018 - The Park in the City Committee will host their annual Community Clean Sweep Day on Saturday, May 12, 2018.  The event starts at the Mick and Angelo’s Kitchen + Bar parking lot at 9:00 a.m.  Hundreds of volunteers will collect litter from City boulevards, parks, trails and walkways in an effort to make our City a cleaner place.

Residents who want to participate are encouraged to register for the event online at niagarafalls.ca/cleansweep.  Participants are provided with safety gear and cleaning supplies as well as a complimentary lunch back at Mick and Angelo’s at the conclusion of the event.  This is a great opportunity for businesses to conduct team building activities and for students to acquire Community Service Hours.

The event is made possible through generous sponsorships from Pitch-In Canada, Daniela Mitrovic and Kathy Tsiantoulas of Re/Max Realty Niagara, and Mick and Angelo’s Kitchen + Bar.  Community Clean Sweep Day will proceed rain or shine.
