Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures
One year ago, on April 26, 2017, the Johns Hopkins community, elected officials, innovators and many others celebrated the grand opening of FastForward 1812. It went on to be a busy year of building: a second space, FastForward R. House, opened in winter 2018, and construction on a student-focused facility is underway. More than just real estate, the construction of innovation hubs represents JHTV’s multifaceted commitment to empowering innovators across campus and beyond. In this edition of the JHTV Newsletter, we highlight the variety of activity happening across FastForward locations, including social ventures making an impact locally and abroad, a student-built platform aiming to transform e-commerce, a promising technology for fighting advanced cancers, and much more.
