Ze zeggen wel eens dat mei niet bestaat vanwege alle feestdagen die we vieren deze maand. Toch hebben we voor deze mei-editie weer een volle nieuwsbrief voor je! We gaan er deze maand onder andere op uit met een lunchwandeling op het Zernike, organiseren een brainstormwedstrijd, vieren de winnaars van de studievereniging duurzaamheidschecklist en informeren naar wat jij van het voedsel in de kantine vindt. Eigen Evenementen: Duurzame Checklist Studieverenigingen
Vandaag is de uitslag bekend geworden van de duurzaamheidschecklisten voor studieverenigingen. De verenigingen die hebben mee gedaan werden gescoord op verschillende elementen van duurzaamheid. GLV Idun behaald het gouden duurzaamheidslabel en is daarmee dit jaar de duurzaamste studievereniging van de RUG. Spreekt CO2 reduceren jou aan? Heb je ideeën over hoe dit op een schip zou kunnen en ben je 2e, 3e jaars of masterstudent? Schrijf je dan voor 2 mei in voor de Green Shipping competitie op 16 en 17 Mei 2018. Kijk hier voor meer informatie!
Sustainable tip:
Plastic-vrije week. Was je handen met een stuk zeep, in plaats van zeep verpakt in een plastic flacon. Check deze kekke zeepjes!

Eigen evenementen: Lunchwandeling Zernike

Duurzaamheid aan de RUG: Enquêtes voor de kantines
Geef jij om gezond en duurzaam eten? Zijn er genoeg duurzame keuzes in de RUG kantines? Geef je mening en help ons om de kantines te verbeteren door deze 10 minuten durende enquête in te vullen!
Duurzame Blog: Klimaatadaptatie in Groningen

They say that May doesn't really exist, because of all the free days we get from the holidays. Yet, we somehow managed to fill this May edition of the news letter to the brim. Among other things, we'll head out this month for the lunch walk at the Zernike, organise a brainstorm competition, celebrate the winners of the study association sustainability contest and inform how you feel about the food in the canteens. Own events: Sustainability Checklist Study Associations
Today we announced the results of the sustainability checklists for study associations. The associations that participated were scored on different elements of sustainability. GLV Idun received a golden sustainability label, making it the most sustainable study association of the University of Groningen! More information and results of the checklist can be found on our website.

Sustainable tip:
Plastic-free week. Wash your hands with a piece of soap, instead of using soap from a plastic flask. Check out these awesome pieces of soap!
