Today is “Wear a Hat to School Day”
Its Spirit week at Woodside!
In last week’s take home flyer, our fifth grade told you how they were holding a spirit week to help them get “over the top” fundraising efforts to go on their annual trip to Cow Island on 5/31.
This week, you may make make an optional donation of 1$ to your teacher for each day you participate in the spirit week theme for the day. My toe favorites are this Thursday’s.....”Backwards Day”, and of course, Friday’s “WES Green” (That stands for Woodside Elementary School Green) I cant wait to see how kids (and teachers) approach these two days!
Have fun, its all for a good cause, and if you can’t donate a dollar, forget to bring one in today or any day this week, you can still participate. If you can spare a quarter, a dime, a nickel, or even a penny, any donation (even a smile) is part of the spirit.
