BOOK BRAG DAYS
Our annual Book Brag days, which give parents the opportunity to have a look at some of the book work their little ones have done this year, will be taking place on Monday, the 23rd and Tuesday, the 24th of April. Our little learners are so dedicated; we cannot wait to show off their work to you!
Senior book brag for Chopin and Stravinsky parents on Monday, the 23rd of April:
- Chopin: 1:30 - 2:00pm
- Stravinsky: 2:00 - 2:30pm
Junior book brag for Mozart and Beethoven parents on Tuesday, the 24th of April:
- Mozart: 12:00 - 12:30pm
- Beethoven: 12:30 - 1:00pm
We ask parents to kindly adhere to the times to ensure there is sufficient parking available.
KIDS FUN DAY AT THE PADDOCKS
We will be hosting another Kids’ Fun Day at the Paddocks shopping centre on Saturday morning 5th May, from 11am. All are welcome to join us at the kiddies play area for this fun event. Little ones will be able to participate in a craft activity, have their faces painted, show off some dance sequences and songs, and have a fun time playing with their friends, while moms and dads could relax together at the surrounding restaurants. We ask that little ones kindly wear their yellow Capriccio! shirts on the day. We hope to see you there - bring your friends with little ones along, to come and share in our special Capriccio spirit!
FLEXINASTIX
Our first Flexinastix extra-mural lesson took place this week and was an absolute hit! Our little ones loved Teacher Tashia’s fun and engaging gymnastics lesson. There are still one or two spots available, should you wish to sign your little one up as well. Please contact Savannah to request a registration form.
CREEPY CRAWLY SHOW
We have an exciting creepy crawly show coming to visit our school on Thursday, the 10th of May. Our little learners will have the opportunity to meet and learn all about some exciting reptilian friends. The cost is R30 per learner, payable with Savannah in the office by Friday the 4th of May, or given to the teacher on gate duty in a sealed, labelled envelope.
SIBLING ENROLMENT
Our 2019 enrolments are open and with enquiries streaming in daily, available spots are filling up fast. As a token of appreciation to our current school families, we like to give our Capriccio siblings first option - and offer a discounted enrolment fee to sibling enrolments finalised by the 31st of May. OCEAN CREATURES DRESS-UP
On Friday, the 25th of May, we invite our little ones to dress up as their favourite ocean creature, to conclude our Oceans & Sea Creatures theme on an exciting note.
COMMUNICATION
A kind reminder to all parents that our school WhatsApp groups are for the use of the class teacher and school principal only. We ask that parents kindly refrain from posting on the class groups, so as not to disturb other members of the group - We focus communication from the school’s side on information that pertains to all class members. For any matters pertaining specifically to your little one, kindly message their teacher personally or contact Savannah in the office at 021 551 7008 or admin@artspreschool.co.za.
