Hello all!
We've got some fun stuff ready for you in this newsletter. :)
But first off we want to say-- "Happy May!!" Here's to an amazing month of reading and writing and living life!

...And also, for some of the authors here, a crazy time of managing beta readers, finalizing book covers, and getting their books ready for the convention! We'll be sure to keep you updated on these super exciting releases!

Now on to the rest of the news...
Two children. Two journeys. Twin arrows.

Ryla follows her father’s parting instructions as closely as she carries his gift. Her protectors are kind, and safety is certain inside the convent’s strong walls. But now she must leave and what lies ahead is uncertain...

Her brother Drewin won’t wait any longer. The knight promised to escort him isn’t coming, and gossiping neighbors threaten to reveal his identity. He strikes out on his own, sure he can outrun the danger...
The latest from the authors on their blogs:

“So, you're saying that we didn’t fail?” Allen asked, shifting his confused glance from the status graph on the screen to me.

“No, not at all. We accomplished exactly what I wanted to with Camp Nanowrimo. My goal wasn’t really to do so much time, but to finish going over Operation Flame again.”

“We still didn’t reach our goal on paper,” Nate grumbled. “I hate having to try to accomplish things on paper, or screens, or involving math or numbers. As far as I’m concerned, it is quite impossible.”

“Oh, quit grumbling,” Max teased. “We did well."

BONUS!!

To end this newsletter, here is an excerpt from Tanner's novel-in-progress!

"I tried to break my bonds, but couldn’t. I slammed them against the wall but did more damage to my hands than the cuffs. I tried to vibrate my hands as fast as I could, hoping that I could phase out of them. Unfortunately, reality had other plans. I was getting frustrated and slammed myself against the wall again.
Agent Welsh shouted, “Wallace what are you doing!”
I was tired of hearing that fake name, but I didn’t respond, I slammed my wrist against the wall again.
“Richardson!”
“That’s not my name!” I exclaimed as I slammed my wrists against the wall again."

~ "The Blue Blur: A Mission Remembered" by Tanner Froreich

P.S. Tanner said the newsletter needed more dinosaurs, so this is for him. ;)
